This mixed use scheme was developed using a Planning Performance Agreement with the Local Planning Authority (LPA). The site is a high profile site in the town containing a Theatre and other listed buildings. The site and its Listed buildings form part of the LPA’s Urban Regeneration strategy therefore a scheme has been developed to on the one hand regenerate the existing listed buildings as Heritage Assets so that there significance in the locality is returned and on the other hand to create a new living community through provision of new apartments to provide a sustainable community to the area in line with LPA’s aspirations. This has generated a mixed use scheme comprising apartments in two new buildings and commercial units in the existing buildings.
